Join us and our partners, Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center for Cancer in our DNA. Let’s Talk About It! on Saturday, September 20th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at ThriveOn King, 2153 N Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53212.

When it comes to hereditary cancer, knowledge is power! Come learn how you can protect yourself and your family through :

    • Understanding your individual hereditary cancer risks.

FORCE Federal Advocacy Day

FFHC cofounder, Sheila Adams Gardner took part in FORCE’s annual Federal Advocacy Day. Groups of Previvors met virtually with members of Congress, urging them to support policies that improve the lives of individuals and families facing hereditary cancers. The 2025 agenda focused on legislative efforts that facilitate affordable access to cancer-related care (genetic counseling, testing, screening, preventive interventions and treatments). Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered (FORCE) is a national nonprofit representing the millions of Americans with or at risk of hereditary cancers.

Joining FORCEs Against Hereditary Cancer Conference

Cofounder, Sheila Adams Gardner served as a panelist for the session, My Family Doesn’t Want to Talk About It: Piercing the Cone of Silence at the Joining FORCEs Against Hereditary Cancer Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this session, participants learned tools and tips for sharing information about genetics and inherited cancer risk with relatives, including those who are not receptive to the information.
