The research summaries below are provided by our partners, Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered (FORCE). FORCE developed “eXamining the Relevance of Articles for You” (XRAY) to provide a reliable way for people to understand cancer information covered by the media. The XRAY content is produced by the FORCE Education Team. They compare what was found in the original research and what the media article reported. They then write up a summary on the original research findings and use their rating scale to rate the relevance of the research, the strength of the science and the accuracy of the media articles that covered the research.
