Families Fighting Hereditary Cancer (FFHC) is honored to spotlight an empowering upcoming community initiative led by our cofounder, Patricia Cifax, Ed.D. In collaboration with the New Testament Church of Milwaukee, we invite you to a vital, faith-forward educational series dedicated to healthy living, cancer prevention, and early detection.

This four-part Sunday School series pairs trusted medical expertise with spiritual encouragement to give our community the tools we need to take control of our health.

Weekly Series Schedule:

The series runs every Sunday in July from 8:45 AM – 9:30 AM. Mark your calendars for these life-saving weekly topics:

  • July 5: Warning Signs You Should Never Ignore

    • Speaker: Dr. Mark Bruce, DO

    • What you'll learn: Identify key symptoms that could signal cancer and understand why proactive, early evaluation and follow-up care save lives.

  • July 12: Breast Cancer Awareness, Risk Factors, and Early Detection

    • Speaker: Dr. Alonzo Walker, MD

    • What you'll learn: Gain a deeper understanding of risk factors, navigate modern screening recommendations, and learn the life-saving impact of early detection.

  • July 19: Everyday Choices That Lower Cancer Risk

    • Speaker: Dr. Benjamin Tobin, MD

    • What you'll learn: Discover how routine wellness checkups and maintaining a consistent relationship with a primary care physician can protect your long-term health.

  • July 26: Survivor Testimony: Hope Through the Journey

    • What you'll experience: Draw strength and encouragement from a cancer survivor's powerful, firsthand testimony of faith, resilience, and ultimate victory.
